How much pressure do you use?
Our pressure washer machines commonly use between 3500 PSI and 4000 PSI. Each machine comes equipped with different tips that make the level of water intensity vary according to what is needed. We select the most appropriate tip for use on each job to ensure cleaning is completed safely and properly every time.

What is the difference between a seal and a stain?
A seal is an oil based penetrating clear finish applied by spray that protects against water. A seal delivers waterproofing protection, UV protection and provides a mildew-resistant coating. Seals last between 12 months & 15 months.

A stain is an oil or water based finish that contains pigments. A stain delivers water protection & UV protection and its pigment improves the appearance of your deck, allowing it to look better and to last longer. Every deck and fence is unique and will absorb stains differently. Decks and fences differ in condition and age, wood type & quality of wood, level of care and maintenance it has received, & exposure to external elements such as varying degrees of sun and shade, winter ice and snow, etc…

What type of products do you use?
Each deck we treat is unique and the type of product and the brand we use will vary. Brands used include Olympic, Cabot, Benjamin Moore, Deckscapes by Sherwin Williams, & TWP Series. However, we are not limited to these products and will work with each customer to choose the best product for their deck or fence. We are always looking for better technology and better quality and better value for our customers.

How do you apply seal or stain products?
To apply a seal or a stain, we use a combination of sprayers, staining pads, brushers and rollers. All projects vary and one inevitably will require different tools for the best application.

Do you work in the rain or windy conditions?
Yes, we will definitely pressure wash in light rain. We do not work in heavy rain or lightning storms or when thunder Is present. Seals and stains require dry weather conditions, so no seal or stain is applied on wet surfaces or during rainy conditions.

During windy conditions, and to prevent overspray, we prefer not to complete pressure wash, seals or stains. Our technicians are well trained and know what conditions they are able to work in.

Do I have to be home during the deck wash, seal or stain?
No, you absolutely do not need to be home during the deck wash. We ask that you make sure that your water is on, the gate is unlocked, and all windows are closed. We ask that the deck be cleared of items for the sealing/staining process.

Can I use my deck during the cleaning and protecting process?
Your deck can definitely still be used after the pressure washing process. If you do plan to grill, make sure your deck is protected from any potential grease drippings. After a seal or a stain application, we ask that you stay off the deck for at least 48 hours to ensure proper drying time.

Do you clean, seal or stain underneath the deck if it is on standing post?
This service is not an industry standard, however customers may request this service for an additional charge.
